Days 1-3: Fly to Havana

Fly to Havana for a 3-night stay. Take a guided tour of the old town and enjoy time at leisure to further explore the city. (B)

Day 4: Board the Star Clipper

Embark on a 7-night cruise. All tours taken while on board are optional and payable locally. (B, D)

Days 5-10: On board the Star Clipper

Sail along Cuba’s coastline, past tropical islands and areas rich in buccaneering history. Visit Pinar del Rio province and a tobacco plantation, snorkel off Maria la Gorda or visit the Guanahacabibes National Park. Experience Grand Cayman, a British territory, and then explore the little-visited Isla de la Juventud and the Canarreos archipelago. (B, L, D)

Day 11: Disembark in Cienfuegos • Havana

Disembark in Cienfuegos and return by road to Havana for 1 night. Optionally, add a stop en route to visit the Che Guevara Monument in Santa Clara, or extend with an overnight stay in colonial Trinidad. (B)
