Day 2: Moscow

Day 3: Uglich

Walking tour of Uglich, including the Chapel of Dmitry and Church of Transfiguration. (B, L, D)

Day 4: Goritsy

Visit Kirillov Belozersky monastery and the Museum of Icons. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Kizhi

Explore the Unesco-listed Kizhi island. Visit the open-air museum of history and architecture, including the Transfiguration Cathedral. Featuring 22 carved domes, it is made entirely from wood, without a single nail. (B, L, D)

Day 6: Mandrogi

Visit this village, popular for handicrafts. (B, L, D)

Day 7: St Petersburg

Morning tour of St Petersburg to view Palace Square, Nevsky Prospect, St Isaac’s Cathedral and the Aurora, whose guns fired the first shots in the Russian Revolution. Afternoon visit to the Hermitage with its unrivalled collection of European masterpieces. (B, L, D)

Day 8: Fly back Home

Morning at leisure or optional excursions. Early afternoon airport transfer and fly back home. (B)
