Istanbul & Antalya-7 Days

Istanbul, capital of the great Ottoman Empire, enjoyed more than four centuries of imperial patronage, which created one of the most famous skylines in the world. Its mosques and palaces are complemented by exquisite tile decoration, fine woodwork and luxurious furnishings. The Topkapi Palace, home to the sultans and their families, remains a magnificent treasure house and, together with the Blue Mosque and Aghia Sophia, this monument represents a fusion of cultures where East meets West.

Antalya was founded by Attalus II of Pergamum in 1st century BC and shortly after it became a Roman city when the Pergamene kingdom was willed to Rome. It has always been an important port town, trading with Crete, Egypt and Cyprus and at the centre of the historic city is the Roman harbour. Highlights of Antalya include the Archeological museum and 13th century Mevlevi tekke monastery.
